JWCES Homepage Welcome
To all of our J.W. Coon Elementary Parents and Students,
My name is Constance Thomas, and I am honored to join Cougar Nation as your new principal! With 16 years of experience in education, I have served in various roles, including PreK-5th grade teacher, academic coach, and assistant principal—and now, I am privileged to lead JW Coon Elementary.
I am excited to see our scholars excel and to build strong, meaningful relationships with fellow scholars, staff, and families. My philosophy is simple: inspire greatness, foster positive relationships, and promote success in everything we do.
At JW Coon Elementary, we are committed to supporting our students' social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing and supportive environment. Our goal is to provide a high-quality education that lays the foundation for our students to be competitive and successful in today’s world. Our dedicated staff is here to assist your family, welcoming you with open arms and an excitement for learning.
I look forward to working alongside each of you to make this school year one to remember!
Constance Thomas,
